Katie & Bob's Wedding!

Last weekend I had the privilege to second shoot for the fabulous Jaime Windon of Blonde Photo and celebrate the union of Katie and Bob! The entire day was coordinated by the talented women behind Your Perfect Day Events and went off without a hitch! Through the smiles, tears, and wonderful moments of their special day - they reminded me once again how beautiful true love can be!

Katie was a modern day Cinderella! Absolutely breathtaking!

The ceremony was held at the St. Veronica Roman Catholic Church in Chantilly, VA.

I absolutely loved their vintage Bentley that carried them to the reception!

The hall was set up beautifully, each bouquet and table setting perfectly placed!

The couple celebrated their reception at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainsville, VA!

The cake was just as classy, topped with beautiful red roses!

Donald Peterson of Bialek's Music did a great job of getting everyone to dance!

Spontaneous Moments

I met my boyfriend for dinner at his house and when I arrived I couldn't take my eyes off all the blooming trees in his yard! Being a photographer, I have this crazy exciting love for nature. Thank goodness for keeping backup gear in my trunk - I spent about ten minutes just wandering around snapping pictures. Living spontaneously like this, ooh its so fun!

Spring is Here!

I've always had this love for macro photography and I've been so overwhelmed with my portraits lately that I haven't had a real chance to go outside and get some beautiful pictures! Yesterday, the weather was perfect & with camera in hand - I ventured into my backyard. I really love days like that!

Off to shoot a wedding in Virginia today! Should be really fun! I'll be blogging it in the next few days! I hope everyone is doing well! I've been so incredibly busy with my portrait sessions, meeting with clients, and now with upcoming weddings! I'm having the best time & I'm looking forward to the end of the semester & the start of the summer too!

Baby Syrus

Two days ago I drove a few minutes down the road to photograph Julyea and Bobby's new bundle of joy, Syrus. At four months this little trouper was teething, but still managed to pose for the camera like a pro! I might be photographing him again later this spring when the weather gets nice! That will be great! Here are a few images from that session!

Maddie's 13th Birthday!

A few weeks ago Maddie booked me for a Friday afternoon in order to celebrate her 13th birthday in a more untraditional way -- round up a group of her eight best friends and have a photo shoot! These girls had so much energy & were such a blast to photograph! =) Here's a small taste from the session!
