Clare & Daniel's Session

Clare & Daniel are absolutely adorable together. I photographed Clare a few months ago for her Senior Portraits & when she asked me if I'd take pictures of her high school sweetheart too, I couldn't resist. Young love is beautiful. :) I took this couple to two separate & still quite secret locations --> My favorite Annapolis beach & an abandoned radio station a few minutes up the road.

It was an extremely windy, extremely cloudy day.

I love the way the clouds appear so cinematic in the beach shots! :)

After shooting for an hour at the beach,

we drove 2 minutes up the road to my favorite abandoned field.

Oh Hey Hon!

If you're locally from the Baltimore area, you have probably heard of HonFest! It is a weekend long street festival in Hampden that celebrates that "Hontastic" style and history of Charm City! I attended HonFest this year with The Blonde Creative (a project initiated by Jaime Windon of Blonde Photo to promote artists across all mediums). I had an amazing time & can't thank Jaime enough for inviting me!

The Baltimore Sun created a fantastic Honfest guide for visitors to use!

"Hontastic" booths sold everything from crabcakes to earrings! :)

The day was hot, but the Hons were hotter. :)

At the opposite end of "The Avenue" - Bands played all day long!

While at the stage, I was lucky enough to watch Pete Yorko's performance.

He was absolutely amazing! :)

Family Session

Monday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful & very energetic Kravitz family! Despite the heat & humidity, this family ran up and down the pier at Chesapeake beach countless times, laughing & smiling uncontrollably! I had a fantastic time & had a tough time deciding what pictures to choose for the blog! They were all too cute! :)

Chloe had more energy than anyone I've ever photographed! :) 

Who couldn't love that face? He is adorable!

Maryland United Lacrosse Club

My comfort zone lies in portraits, weddings, and couples.. I've even photographed the occasional dog or too. But lacrosse is something that, although I played for more than half of my life, I've never photographed. I've recently started donating my services to a nonprofit organization known as the Maryland United Lacrosse Club that helps young women pursue their goals on and off of the field. Fierce competition mixed with an amazing attitude of positivity and camaraderie make this organization the finest in the region! I'm proud to be involved with such an incredible group of young women! :) Here is a quick glimpse of their tournament in Ocean City last weekend! Enjoy!

Back from the Beach!

I returned home last night from a much needed week at the beach! ;) Now it is back to work for this sun-kissed photographer! I have nearly 200 emails in my inbox to reply to! Yikes! If you emailed me over the past seven or eight days, I apologize for the delay - I'll be getting back to you all shortly!
