Trash the Dress Trio!

Yesterday I met Kira, Ashley, and Brianna at the beach for a hot trash the dress session in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. Hot (not only because these girls are gorgeous) but because temperatures were in the mid 90's with little to no breeze on the beach. No one seemed to mind as we ran around the beach laughing, splashing, and taking some fabulous pictures! This has to be one of the most fun sessions that I've done all summer!

Trash the Dress Marathon Day

Last Saturday I had the first ever Trash the Dress Marathon Day & it was such a blast! The girls were gorgeous & ready to trash their dresses in the Chesapeake Bay! :) Here is a sneak peek of some of the images from Saturday! Enjoy!

Andrea & Alix are cousins! :) Alix bought the session as a gift for Andrea's birthday!

Lauren's session was a little different! She wanted to trash her wedding dress & do it in style!

She even brought a bouquet & veil to the sesh! :)

Not only was she drop dead gorgeous, but she wasn't afraid to trash her gown!

At the end of the day, I also had a fabulous engagement session with Sarah & Steven! I'll be blogging their session later today or tomorrow! :) I've also been getting everything ready for the Lunch & Learn in a little under two weeks! It's all very exciting.

Update

The next two weeks are going to be incredibly crazy for me! I'm finishing finals on Tuesday and have two proms, 5 portrait sessions and two weddings scheduled by the end of the month! It's a big jumbled mess of excitement and craziness. :) In order to organize everything for my clients I've decided to blog with a mini-update of everything coming up and going on. But what's a post without a few pictures, seriously. This is a photo-blog afterall!

The Trash the Dress Marathon Day on June 27th is sold out!

Lunch and Learn: I've filled up all of the spots for the Lunch and Learn in Annapolis on July 12th. If you are still interested - Email me - If I get a few more people I might be able to plan a second one! Yay!

May 30th to June 7th: I will be on vacation and out of the office for the first week of June. I will do my best to respond to emails at that time, but I will be fairly out of touch. If you want to book a session for June - Please email me before I go on vacation!

Trash the Dress Marathon Day!

It's finally time to announce my first ever "Trash the Dress Marathon Day" which will be comprised of mini sessions that can be used in any way to trash one of your favorite dresses. I have two dates reserved this summer, and already have four sessions pending so email me as soon as possible to reserve your session!

Date: Saturday, June 27th 2009

Location: Chesapeake Beach, MD

The Deal: A one hour long photo session, online ordering gallery, and access to the digital image files for $125 (two person max). Group sessions (3 or more people) are an hour and half long at a cost of $50 per person with the same benefits. I will taking a total of 4-5 sessions each day starting in the late afternoon and running through sunset!

What is trashing the dress?

Trashing the dress doesn't literally mean ruining a gown as the title would suggest. Instead it means creating something fabulous from a dress that you'll never wear again! And because that dress is most likely destined to a life wrapped in plastic, neglected in the back of your closet - why not get the most out of it? At these sessions you will jump in the water, lay in the sand, and be completely care free while looking your best!

What dress should I trash? Who should consider attending?

The most common trash the dress session is for brides who want to get the beautiful pictures that they couldn't risk taking on their wedding day! It also applies to high school juniors and seniors who want to get some prettier portraits from their prom dresses. But any woman should be able to find a dress and trash it - all it takes is a little creativity and a willingness to have a blast in front of the camera! These sessions aren't limited only to women -- couples can take full advantage of a flirty beach session too. Dance along the shore, lay side by side in the sand together, and have pictures of this unique session to last a lifetime.
