Candice & Nicole's Senior Session

After days of rain, most of the snow melted around Annapolis. It was the perfect way to clean up the streets and bring about some of the historic color and charm that Annapolis is famous for. I met up with two gorgeous girls, Candice and Nicole, for a portrait session around town. It only took a few minutes for the girls to start laughing and the rest was history! I always forget how much I love photographing senior portrait sessions until I get a pair like these two! Here's a sneak peek from their session.

Bryanna's Senior Session

For anyone who has misconceptions about the amount of fun that you'll have on a Senior Session - Bryanna is here to prove you wrong. Between meeting a crazy group of seagulls to having a snowball fight, this was one of the most enjoyable sessions that I've had all year. Bryanna is smart, funny, and absolutely beautiful! She is such a natural in front of the camera and made this session one of a kind.

Downtown Annapolis was decorated for the holidays! :) It made for quite a beautiful backdrop.

We decided to explore and found a cute little pier overlooking the water...
Unfortunately, a group of seagulls thought that we were going to feed them and they started to swarm.
It made for some absolutely adorable candid pictures. :)

And we ended the day with a good old fashioned snowball fight. :) How's that for a senior session!

Stephanie & Jake's Engagement Session

Stephanie & Jake make a wonderful couple. They were incredibly easy to photograph, always laughing and smiling. Quickly into the session, I found out that Jake is Penn alum. Such a fun coincidence! They are getting married in Georgia & after hearing just a few of the details - I have no doubt that it will be a beautiful wedding! Here are some of my favorites from the afternoon.

My new favorite gate! :)

I told Stephanie that every time she looks at Jake, she lights up. It's so true. They are perfect together!

When I saw her ring my jaw nearly dropped! Gorgeous! :)

Clare's Senior Pictures

The weather was forecasted to rain, but with a few clouds in the sky we managed to have one of the best shoots so far this season! Although Clare may look like she was getting pictures for a modeling portfolio (this girl is gorgeous!) we were doing her senior portraits before she graduates in a few weeks! Her mom, Michele, is an incredible photographer from the area who will be launching her website in the near future! I'll be joining Michele this summer as we work with the Maryland United Lacrosse Club during their tournaments! Enjoy!

Rocking these gorgeous heels!

This girl can strike a serious pose like no one I've ever known.

These shots scream "FREEDOM!" - Graduating in a few weeks! Congrats Clare!

Clare - Best of luck as you enter this new part of your life! You're going to do such incredible things with your talent and amazing personality! Hopefully I'll get a camera in your hands sooner rather than later! ;)

Yours Truly,
Natalie Franke

Shelby and Brian

Yesterday turned out to be the warmest day so far this year and all photographers know that beautiful weather means that its time to head outside for portraits! I met up with Armin DeFiesta in downtown Annapolis to photograph the fun & fabulous Shelby Leigh and her boyfriend Brian as we ventured around town! Enjoy!

I caught Armin taking a picture of me, so I snapped one back!

My boyfriend Hugh filmed the shoot on Armin's Flip HD Camera.

Armin in action!

It was such a fun day & I had fun working with Armin and photographing Shelby and Brian! I'm sure that you'll see more of them as the portrait and wedding season continues! =)

Yours Truly,
Natalie Franke
