My New Shootsac!

My boyfriend, Huey, really treated me well this Christmas! My big gift this year was a Jessica Claire, Shootsac with a gorgeous baroque cover! It's absolutely gorgeous & I can't wait to get this baby out on location with me in the spring! I previously had such an issue with having to put my bag down whenever we found the perfect spot -- now it can stay on me at all times. Easier to switch lenses and carry wherever I may choose to go! Holiday Visit!

I'm heading down south to visit my Dad, Stepmom, & my baby brother! I'll be taking a ton of photos while I'm down there, but will be regularly checking my email! I have some fun ideas in the works for "events" to hold this year! Let me know if you would be interested in either of the following:

1) Beach Bliss Marathon Session: One Hour Sessions for groups of friends, families, and couples at the beach for $100 with free downloads in Chesapeake Beach Maryland that is absolutely to die for! Gorgeous pier, a long beach, and a beautiful view.

2) "Be My Valentine Session": One Hour Couple Sessions in honor of Valentine's Day at a location (to be voted on later) for $100 with free downloads. I'm thinking something super cute, amazingly romantic. Maybe a street side cafe - a beach stroll - or any possibility in between!

These are just two ideas and I'm open to any suggestions! I'm only going to hold these if I can get enough people interested to hold one so please let me know what you all think! I hope you had an amazing holiday!

Some Holiday Love!

I hope everyone is having a simply wonderful start to Hanukkah and Christmas! I know I've been a little slow on the blogging - but it has been crazy getting ready for the holidays! With finals ending last week, I have barely had a chance to do all my Christmas shopping & finally caught up today! I was able to spend some time with friends this week and have really loved catching up! 

On a business note: I already have a few Senior Models signing up for each school & just wanted to remind everyone that if you are interested please email me soon. I will stop taking models on January 20th in order to start planning sessions and arranging my Spring schedule. The deal with being a Senior Model is that if you are a current Junior (Grad Year 2010) and you purchase a photo session - $150 you automatically recieve free digital images to share with your friends as well as a HALF off coupon for a future group session.

I will be posting more blog photos, but in the mean time check out my Flickr account. I post still life and some pictures from my portrait sessions almost daily. It has become my personal portfolio to learn and find inspiration! I hope you all enjoy!

Ten More Days!

The countdown until Christmas has begun! It has really snuck up on me this year! Finals all week, crazy busy! One last portrait session to edit before the holiday! I hope everyone is getting in the the spirit.. I caught my puppy Sophie with a candy cane in her mouth - too cute!

Portrait Update!

I've been so busy lately with editing that I haven't gotten a real chance to blog about a few sessions I did over the last couple weeks. I've photographed two families, a pair of sisters, and an aspiring actress!
